Undertake a study to provide policy recommendations to relevant stakeholders to improve the strategic planning and management of development zones.

• Identify common practices and experiences in developing and managing development zones.
• Highlight areas viable for cross-learning in particular pinpoint areas where country-specific contexts exist in terms of the establishment, operation and management of those zones.
• Prepare a policy paper drawing lessons from China’s experience with SEZs development and its relevance to the African countries.
• Provide recommendations for Chinese government on how to better apply its SEZs projects overseas.
